successful grant-seeking program, so you will have the knowledge and tools needed to get
organized, start writing a grant proposal to build confidence and demystify the process!

Pat Kelsaw, MSW:
Pat Kelsaw, MSW is the founder and lead contributor to Lead Like Big Mama, a nonprofit
development and grant writing resource. She knows what it takes to get funded! Having raised
well over $10 million from federal, state, and private grant makers, along with her work as a
former program officer at a charitable foundation, and still today, as a Federal grant reviewer.
As a former nonprofit executive director, Pat has a deep understanding of the challenges that
nonprofits face. Over the last four decades, she's worked with hundreds of nonprofit
organizations and governmental entities to improve their capacity to raise funds and improve
the wellbeing of rural and urban communities. Pat is a renowned trainer and educator with a
unique style and passion to share her expertise.
